A 16-member cast with Nuevo Tango Ensemble, Nuevo Tango Ballet, visual arts, and rare footage of Piazzolla in New York shares a unique vision of the genre while honoring Leonardo’s mentor, Astor Piazzolla, by recreating Nuevo Tango as an evolving, daring, artistically complex and emotionally moving art form.
