A ferry. A gondola. A duck boat. A dog sled. A wedding carriage. A party bike. A monorail. A kayak. A glacier train. A riverboat.

Ten rides. Two benches. A whole lot of nowhere to go.
|
Every ride hands one passenger to the next. The woman stranded in a kayak turns up on a glacier train. The man shining shoes in the first scene is still riding in the last. Everyone is carrying something: grief disguised as gumption, faith stitched together with doubt, stillness mistaken for failure. It is very funny until, suddenly, it isn’t. |

Tampa Bay readers voted Brian S. Brijbag a 2026 BroadwayWorld Award winner for Best New Play or Musical, and a second for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. His work has been produced off‑Broadway at the AMT Theater and The Players Theatre in New York. He also won the 2026 Verna Safran Prize.
